Silicato plastering Silicato or Silicate plastering can be used both interior and exterior, since it is resistant to weather conditions, bumps and abrasion. Graffiato plastering
Graffiato plastering is used for both internal or external walls, since it is resistant to weather conditions, bumps and abrasion. It can be applied on reinforced concrete, plasterwork, precast concrete, old paint, plasters and external insulation cladding systems. Graffiato is a high quality plaster with special graded silica granules. This plaster gives a beautiful scratched decorative finish which looks good both indoors and outdoors. |
Modern stucco
Modern stucco is exterior cement plastering. It is a mixture of lime, cement, sand, and water. Additives are usually put in the mixture for increased flexibility. It consists of three essential coats: a scratch coat which is the foundation coat; a brown coat is finer and the final coat which is needed to give a finished look. The latter is usually a colour coat. |

This kind of plastering makes use of gypsum boards that are screwed to the wall. The seams between these drywalls are covered with mesh tape, which are then covered with drywall plaster to conceal them and give them a finish look.
